This 6 night and 7 day retreat includes 4 nights at the Chakra Eco-Lodge on a private reserve in the cloud forests of Costa Rica and 2 nights at La Casinga, a gorgeous Eco-Lodge on a private beach on the ocean near the town of Uvita.
Each day of the retreat will begin with a yoga and movement class with a focus on both physical and spiritual well-being, these classes will help you cultivate embodied presence, greater ease, strength and inner peace. In addition to traditional yoga practices, you’ll also have the opportunity to explore other forms of movement and meditation, such as dance, breath work, and mindfulness exercises.
After a nourishing breakfast, you’ll set out on a variety of adventures designed to immerse you in the beauty and wonder of Costa Rica. Along the way, you’ll learn about the local ecology and culture, and connect with the natural world in a meaningful way.
On our final day at Chakra, we will dedicate the morning to a community service project led by the women’s group of the town of San Jeronimo. This project will give you the opportunity to connect with the community and make a positive impact while learning about their culture and way of life. The specific project may vary, but could include activities such as building a community garden, helping to refurbish a local school, or assisting with a sustainable living initiative.
For the last 2 nights of the beach portion of the retreat, we´ll travel to Uvita where you’ll enjoy swimming, beautiful sunsets on the beach and time to relax by the ocean. You’ll also have the opportunity to stand up paddle in the pristine mangroves, where you can observe the diverse wildlife and take in the stunning natural beauty.
In the afternoons, you’ll have time to relax and rejuvenate, perhaps with a dip in the natural pool or quiet reflection time. In the evenings, you’ll gather with your fellow retreat participants for delicious, healthy meals and engaging conversations. As the sun sets over the forest or beach, you’ll have a chance to reflect on your experiences and connect with your own inner wisdom before evening programs to enrich your healing and inner work.
Throughout the retreat, you’ll be supported by Melanie and Eduardo who are dedicated to creating a safe and nurturing environment for your journey of self- discovery. Whether you’re an experienced yogi or a curious beginner, this retreat offers a unique opportunity to explore the beauty and magic of Costa Rica while deepening your connection to yourself, the natural world, the local community and Source.
