Thank you, Melanie and Baljit, for this podcast. Listening to this is part of a lovely little synchronicity for me – I discovered Lotusdestiny.com recently, and after browsing the website, was thinking about having an Akashic Record reading with Baljit, and then….this podcast pops up! The discussion of the persecutor-victim-rescuer triad was particularly interesting. To be a genuine healer, then, it seems essential to promote self-trust in those seeking help, rather than dependence on external sources of guidance? For either or both of you, is it difficult to draw the line between helping and fostering unhealthy dependence?

      April, what great synchronicity!
I’ve had my share on the receiving end of teachers/ gurus creating an unhealthy dependence so I’m very sensitive to this dynamic. I feel it’s my dharma to empower my students and clients. It doesn’t mean we don’t ever seek out support, guidance or mentorship but that we become very discerning to whom we share our heart and that it’s with someone who is not needing from us and who always empowers opposed to disempowers.
      Be the light,
      m

    Thank you Baljit and Mel.
I loved the reminder of the prosecutor, rescuer, victim ? and the beautiful guidance to our Akashic records.
I honour your sincerity and invitation for us as teachers & healers to always work from a place where we empower our clients and students.
